Hurricane Matthew recently killed over 1,000 people and caused an estimated $2.25 billion in damages when it struck Haiti on October 4th.
I always feel helpless and overwhelmed when facing such negative news. After all, I'm just one guy. An artist. What could I possibly do to make an impact and help these poor people?
One day, I stumbled on this quote by Obama: “The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something."
I decided that the only choice I had was to head out and do what I do best: Take pretty crazy photos and do everything in my power to make a difference.
100% of the profits from this series goes to victims of Hurricane Matthew. For a limited time, you can purchase museum quality prints starting at just $20, and 100% of the profits will go to the St. Boniface Haiti Foundation. They are a reputable local charity that has received a 4 out of 4 star rating on Charity Navigator running and are currently in dire need of support.
I hope you enjoy the photographs and invest in making the world a better place with me.
